replacing blown FA-20. What options to get?

Forgive crosspost please.

A few weeks ago, I posted about my 2019 BRZ which blew up its engine at the track. Probably threw a rod, but I won't know until they pull the engine. It was stock except for an oil cooler, JDL 4-2-1 header, flex fuel kit, and a tune from a prominent East Coast tuner. Although it's not clear what happened, it was probably not oiling, as the motor was strong up to the point it grenaded. ?Maybe the tune??

I have a short block on order, and it should be arriving soon. The block is OEM, and I will have the header and flex fuel kit reinstalled. I'll probably get a tune from CSG trying to prioritize longevity over power.

Does anybody have suggestions for anything to do while we are doing this? I've committed to an OEM block, but maybe Killer B oil pickup? worth it? I'll have them check the clutch. Anything else to do?

Thanks in advance.

you really need to ruin on purpouse the tune to make it grenade while on NA the ecu just corrects a lot and is difficult to make damage
just unlucky :)

Corrections are reactive. To correct, there must first be something to trigger the correction.

Poking your skin with a needle once, will likely to zero damage. Poke the same location 1000 times, and you will have permanent damage.

of course

what about stock tune and 91oxtane? it knocks constantly.

he is NA , and running ethanol mixture, how much do you think it would knock/correct? and even if it does, not so different than a stock tune with 91oct /95 ron or worse, and subaru says is ok
