Can replacing an turbo actuator cause oil leak do to "pressurization"?

Hey guys sorry if this is a dumb question but i have a custom turbo kit that uses a gt2871 but the actuator pressure rating is 14psi. Im wanting to run on low boost so i plan on replacing it with a turbosmart 5psi actuator, I asked the seller if i can replace it with TS but he said replacing it could cause an oil leak due to incorrect pressurization from the actuator?? Can someone explain this to me? Thanks in advance! Again sorry if this sound like a stupid question •_•

That doesn't make any sense. I can't think of anything real they might be talking about.

Lower boost actuator is the way to go for low boost.

You could install it yourself when you get the kit in your hands. It might involve some minor fabrication for the rod or mounting.

That tuner must specialize in WRXs. The oil sump on the WRX has issues when people remove the restrictions in the exhaust- you're going to be doing the opposite so I don't really understand where they're coming from.

It sounds like they just don't want to do it.
