Looking for mechanic for clutch job due to 2013 TOB
Hello,
Hope this is correct section of the boards to post this in. My TOB went out and my research lead me to buying a new after-market clutch and flywheel, fork, and another small part. I am calling around the Sacramento area and getting labor quotes around $1400, yet also seeing labor between 3 and 9 hours for this job on the forums. Can someone recommend to me a mechanic, could even be themselves, to help me get this done at a lower rate? My initial research lead me to expect the job to be around $300-500 at roughly a 3-hr job. To be fair, I don't know if that's accurate, so open to being told that is too low or unreasonable just sharing what I found surfing the forums. Any help is appreciated. Thanks all! |
3 hours is a little tight, 4 hours reasonable. Anyone that will do it for less than $500 in labor I would worry about their quality.
