Engine knock!!

What’s up y’all
I had my frs since 2014, decided to mod car several years ago. Now when I accelerate knocking can be heard from engine. I’m now looking to rebuilt motor and was wondering anyone has any suggestions on what internals would be best. I plan on adding turbo, really looking for something that I can daily drive and have some crazy power. I’m done everything myself so far without having the most knowledge on car mechanics. Anything advice would be useful?

List of mods I have on car currently
- Perrin cold air intake
- Perrin inlet tube
- hffp deatschwerks
- 700cc injectors
- Megan uel headers
- invidia n2 catback
- flex fuel kit
- ECUTEK stage 2 tune
- running e85

What power goals you want is the first question you should be asking yourself.
THEN what internals to reach that goal while trying to keep it DDable.

"crazy power" isn't a number. That could be anywhere between 250 to 1000+ WHP.

A worked engine and crazy power isn't likely to be a daily driver.

If you just want some more power, buy a replacement engine and a jrsc and have fun. Just understand the risk associated with this engine and forced induction.

Change platforms or lower your expectations IMO, unless you want to dump 6 figures into your car changing engines etc

Agree. Get a low mileage engine and run a small turbo kit with 6-8 psi. Get flex fuel and ecutek and enjoy a really fun car that is still street able. If not fix and sell and move onto something already factory boosted.
