Delay in engine revs...!

Hello people! Help solve the problem
When my car's engine attains up 2500 rpm in first gear, I push harder on the gas pedal, as the result of this, there is a delay in engine revs. The effect is as if ESP has worked...

Is it stock? Any mods?

tomm.brz 10-28-2022 12:26 PM

start with the very basic
Clean maf and map sensor, reset ecu unplugging battery and try again

that's exactly what we did, but to no avail

the fact that it starts exactly at 2800 where the stock oem tune switches to DI only at relatively low loads, makes me think of problems with the DI itself

Can you try to floor it heavily at 2000 rpm instead of give partial throttle?
like 2000 rpm floor it 100%... if you are quick enough it should still cover the zones where it uses 50/50% of injections at least untill 3200 rpm, so the esitation should begin a bit later

in the case it is the DI, don t really know how to help you, maybe some DI injectors is clogged up or faulty

And so, here is the result!
There is no delay when I increase speed sharply from 2000rpm.
But it's all in 1st gear!

Let me remind you that the delay occurs with a sharp increase in speed at 2500rpm, it is in this range that 2nd gear is switched on

An interesting moment, using the tiptronic, I switched the speed to 2nd gear at 2000rpm, as a result ... the same delay!
Bottom line, the delay occurs at the moment of gear shifting from 1 to 2

Maybe an automatic transmission torque converter?

Another interesting observation. I arrived at the service, got into the car with a mechanic for a test drive - and there was no delay! worked perfectly! No matter how hard I try. But as soon as the car was turned off and restarted, this problem immediately got out, the delay reappeared. ECM? UNIT-AT CONTROL ?
