Engine cutting power after hard cornering... Video inside

We experienced a power cut after "Lost Hill" at Buttonwillow last weekend.

Here are the circumstances:
- Power cut only happens when we are going for a fast lap, and "jumping" the berm at the top of the turn; the car is likely momentarily catching air here.
- Fuel was at 75% full
- Does not happen ANYWHERE else on track, even on other turns where catching air is requisite for a fast lap.
- Power cut occurs a few moments AFTER the turn.

Maybe you could use a Bluetooth OBDII Diagnostic Scanner during your run and diagnose the issue.

BTW, I take it that both traction and stability control are turned off.

Yes, all aids are off (although there's still that light that blinks under trail braking that we haven't yet figured out...)

We have a Aim Solo DL, but it can't read anything from the ODBII port on the BRZ :(

i know people have had some success with the bluetooth OBD2 adapters paired to a smartphone for datalogging.

I've got a chinese bluetooth adapter and the Torque app on my android phone and I can confirm it works great. Even shows AFR's, although it seems like the stock sensor only reads down as low as 12.13:1.
Also, you might want to try pulling the ABS fuse next time and see how it behaves.
