Trans rebuild OEM
 

Doing some searching online and not finding too much on rebuilding the transmission on these cars. My 5th and 6th gear grind above 4K Rpm. I mostly drive highways so I don't spend a terribly long amount of time shifting in these gears but it is annoying when I need to pass someone.

Is everyone just replacing transmissions when/if this happens? Car has a little over 130k on it.

When is the last time you changed the transmission fluid and what are you running for fluid? Good fluid makes a huge difference.

Used transmissions are 4-600 so people don't really rebuild them, problem is you don't know what you are going to get used. I would call a local transmission place for a quote, snycro's maybe toast, they are a bit sensitive in these.
