AT 2013 BRZ stalls braking hard

My 2013 AT BRZ stalls when I brake hard due to rpm dropping below 500. When it stalls I put it back in park and start it again. I’ve cleaned throttle body it seemed to have gotten better but still stalls when I test it out. Does anyone know what the problem might be ?

Is your car tuned? What non-oem parts are on the car? Why are you braking hard? Have you considered consulting a shop or the dealer?

No tune , just a cat back exhaust . It shouldn’t still regardless of why I’m braking hard , even when I stop rapidly at a stop sign the rpm drops and the car is joking.

They're exactly the same other than front bumper and some paint colors.

I know but it just said that some of the FRS vehicles may experience that I thought maybe BRZ was didn’t have that defective ECM.

Subaru will have a similar bulletin with the same fix (as said same car) it just isn't posted here.

My previous car, AT 2011 scion tC would stall occasionally when braking hard to a stop. Just had an axle back and intake with no tune, but discovered it’d do that because my oil was low. Like just barely on the dipstick low. Changed and added more oil and it fixed the stalling problem for me.

It’s a different car, but might be the same problem it had ? Check your oil pressure and levels.
