AC Issue *WIRING CHALLENGE*
2 Attachment(s)
AC does not work.
All the wires for the AC compressor are fine. Relay and fuse are fine. Here is what I found: -The voltage going into the AC relay is 4.5V when the AC button is toggled off, and 0V when the AC button is toggled on. This is not enough to trip the relay I assume. -Power going into the relay for the compressor is +12V. No problem there. -I pulled the climate control module out and checked continuity for all of the pins. From left to right I measured: Nothing, Ground, High resistance, Ground, Ground, 12V, 4.5V, Nothing, Nothing. Attachment 214606 Looking at the wiring diagram, shouldn't pin 6 be 0V? That is the pin that would lead to the AC comp relay correct? Attachment 214607 My question is: -Shouldn't the relay get 12V when the AC button is toggled on? -Where is the 4.5V coming from? -Where do I go from here? Thanks in advance! |
