P0341 is a circuit range-performance code. A mechanical failure isn't impossible, but rather limited to physical damage to the tone wheel or a sprocket that has jumped a tooth.
There is a fancy diagnostic chart that makes you check every wire, the tone wheels and even take the cover off to check the valve timing, but this is really one of those codes that's easier to do the old fashioned way:
Mark the B1 intake camshaft position sensor with a paint pen, remove it, look in the hole while turning the engine over 2 turns. Is the tone wheel ok? If yes, remove the B2 intake camshaft position sensor and switch them. See if the etc turns into a P0345.
If it stays on 341 now you've got reasonable doubt to have a go at the harder steps.
