Exhaust help please!!!

Hi all,

Turbocharged and running strong for almost two years. Recently in my state there has been mass issuing of noise testing by the EPA with the police. So I would like to take a precaution and change my exhaust to as close to stock as possible without needing a retune hopefully.

My current exhaust system is stock front pipe and invidia N1 catback. I still have my stock catback and wondering if this will be ok for my car as I’m not sure if it’s that restrictive. Not sure if even a stock catback with muffler delete would be fine for the turbo.

Any advice appreciated thank you.

I'm supercharged, running a full custom 2.5 exhaust...UEL header, high flow cat in front pipe, 1 resonator, cutout valve, another resonator, then the stock muffler. It's quiet, unless I crack open the valve.
As for performance/restriction, there was only a 5hp difference on the dyno when it was run with the cutout valve wide open (no muffler) and with it closed.

Put the OEM Cat-back on. You’ll notice no power loss and your neighbours will start to like you again.

If you're not wanting to go back to the stock catback, this is a nice choice.

honestly I really enjoyed my fujitsubo-authorize-s-axle-back-exhaust if you still have stock mid pipe. Fully catless it was still pretty tame. Here is a sound clip on the track with Mic at the trunk area.
