BRZ feels unstable after wheel and tire set up
I recently installed some 18x9.5+43 with Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 (245/35/18). With some BC racing coilovers from my previous Gen 1.
This is my first time running a wider tire set up on one of these cars. The largest i've run in the past where 225/40s on a 9.5.
The car feels unstable on the highway and im constantly fighting it to keep it straight in the lane to the point where it just feels unsafe almost floaty like a sway.
I took the car in for an alignment since it felt like the toe might have been out in the rear but that did not seem to change much.
I know tramlining can be an issue with wider tires that are lower profile but i feel like this is a pretty common set up for these cars and i really haven't seen other people complaining about this.
Anyone running a similar setup what has your experience been?
Suspension is all stock arms and the front camber plate on the coilovers are zero out (so no excessive camber other than the nature camber from the modest drop).
I did install the coilovers and wheels the same day so ill be swapping the wheels back to stock to see if it is in fact tramlining.
