wideband 02 sensor + ECU
does the ECU need access to a wideband O2 sensor for the car to function better... or is it used in conjunction, in tuning the car with stock o2 sensors. I've bought a wideband sensor and gauge... I know it can be logged but is it possible or beneficial to have it tied into the ECU?
I couldn't find any threads on this topic if you could link me would be great Thank you for any response |
you can force the ecu to use it during open loop state of the ecu, the ecu will apply then a closed loop correction into the open loop using your wideband
thwre are failsafe but best usually, and how it ia used by many tuner, is that you use your wideband as a reference to rescale the stock lambda and make. it similar to the wideband using the stock one |
I see how it works now... I found it in the ProECU help file :bonk: thanks again for your reply
