CAS-CAM Plate Use
For those that have installed a CAS-CAM plate and track their cars, do you use the plate to make adjustments on your own as you dial in the car or do you only have a suspension shop make the adjustments?

Only adjusted them as part of a full front end alignment.

I've done both. Generally I set it to minimum caster and maximum camber and let the shop just do toe settings.

I adjust them but you have to adjust the toe anytime you change the camber. I do it with toe plates and tape measures.

I’ve adjusted myself, yes toe changes, do some measurements and see how big of an impact it is, toe plates can get you back to where you want for cheap.

Thanks Danny and Strat. That is good to know. I had not considered the impact on toe. Obviously, this is my first foray into setting up a suspension for track use. I won't be going too far afield anytime soon, but the 'on the fly' adjustability of camber plates had me curious.
