2015 BRZ engine valve tick?
 

Long story short, my 2013 BRZ's engine had rod knock after 146k miles, so in the essence of time and money, I swapped in a used 2015 w/ 80k miles. It runs just fine but... it has what sounds like valve tick but I'm not quite sure. https://youtu.be/RhhyIXGfxC0



At 0:05 is when the tick is real prominent, and 0:10 there's a pretty bizarre sound that comes out too that I have no idea what it could be.

the sound at 0:10, did you hear that in person, or only on camera? almost sounds more like a camera/mount noise than a car noise

That sound at 0:10 was also heard in person when I didn’t have my camera on.

Is your ac compressor on? Your hose looks collapsed.

High Pressure Fuel Pump. Mine makes weird sounds too.

Take a long screwdriver and put it to the valve covers, and the handle to your ear to listen for vibration. I barely hear any noise from the valvetrain, its very quiet in there. Use this method to listen around the different parts of the engine, like the fuel pump and injectors, and the transmission.

Another source of noise might be the clutch throw out bearing. A few years ago I was also investigating a weird tapping sound on revs, and it turned out that it was clutch bearing rattle. I'm on my 3rd bearing now!

Well we ruled out an exhaust leak at the heads of the manifold, though there was a substantial leak there, it was not the source of the sounds I’m hearing. I was thinking fuel pump as well, but I always figured the fuel pump made the chirping sounds and not necessarily whatever the hell this is. I’ll try the screwdriver trick and see what happens.

That sound at 10 is weird, does not sound engine mechanical. I would disconnect the cabin sound generator for a test.
