Ripped wire in engine bay?
 

Was changing my spark plugs and found this green fabricy wire that looks like it was ripped off of something, the other side of it seems to be attached to the lower part of the frame on a bolt. Other side of the car has the same thing and it is connected to what looks like some cover/sensor on the bottom front of the motor… seems to be a ground? I have no issues with the car at all from it… anyone know what it connects to and how important it is to fix? Thanks

After doing some more research I believe it is a grounding wire... I guess there's enough other ground wires that this one isn't totally necessary. I'll have to go in there and see how hard it's going to be to fix

It's super easy once the under tray is removed.

It's not really a wire in the normal sense. It's a braided metal strap. You can probably get a replacement at a dealer and install it. It uses 2 loop terminals and bolts onto the engine block and chassis
