Flashing Security Light in Dash?

I was sure when I first got the car there was a flashing security light in the dash after you lock the doors with the fob. Can someone confirm if the FR-S has this? Our tC has one even though there's no alarm.

Mine does not have a flasher. I was just thinking about this last night in fact when I noticed my Legacy has a blinker, so I went and checked the FR-S and it didn't

Mine has one, I remember noticing it yesterday when I was parked in the garage at work. I will have to look closer to tell you where it is located. I was used to this on my tC and was happy to see that the FR-S had the same thing.

I can confirm the FR-S has the security blinking light.

I know theres a light that blinks on the dash, when you have the key in the car. to warn you that the key is somewhere in your car (ex. in your pocket) just in case you dont lock your car and leave your keys inside.

The FR-S does have a security light when the car is locked.

FR-S does have this light, even though it has no alarm. The light means that the immobilizer is set. After inserting the key, the car will read the transponder inside the key. if the transponder code is a match, light goes off car fires up. If the transponder code in the key is not registered with the immobilizer ecu, the ecu will cut fuel. The car will crank but it will not start cuz the injectors are not opening. you can get a key that actually turn the ignition cylinder and makes the car crank however it will not start.
