Full Pinout for D29 Unused 6 Pin behind the Headunit?

  3. The electrical manual

But none of them have full pinout, most just the location. Maybe the manual does, but I'm not sure how to find/read that part.

In the below photo attached, according to the Youtube video,
  • 4 = ACC 12 V
  • 6 = Always On 12 V

but all the rest are unknown.

Would really appreciate it if anyone has more information, especially on the Ground pin, if it has one

Instead of just watching the video, continue on with reading the thread that you have also provided. A few posts down, somebody explains what they are.

Thanks, can't believe I missed that!

By matching with the photos in that thread, think this should be right?
  • 1 = Unused?
  • 2 = CAN bus
  • 3 = CAN bus
  • 4 = ACC 12 V (Radio fuse)
  • 5= Ground
  • 6 = Always On 12 V (Dome light fuse)

We'll be relying on you and your expert diagnosing skills to confirm.

"expert" diagnosing skills back to report... I think I got them mirrored in my previous post. There is indeed one unused pin in one extreme end, that side is the one with the ground pin. The other extreme end has always-on-12V on the same level as the ground pin, and acc-12V just above/below it.

It's on page 364 of the wiring manual you linked to.

You numbered your pins in the reverse order from the wiring manual; the index for the connector pins is on page 394. Your pin 1 is officially pin 6, your pin 6 is officially pin1, so forth.

By the manual:
  • 1 always on 12v (Orange)
  • 2 ground (Black-Yellow)
  • 3 accessory 12v (Red-Black)
  • 4 Can H (Pink)
  • 5 Can L (bLue)
  • 6 unused
