Stock tune needed for BRZ & State Ref
My '13 BRZ has a state ref against it and the OFT v2 I have doesnt have the stock tune. I'm trying to remap it to something thatll pass emissions tests, currently running stage 1 and expect to return car to stock to sell. Heard I may need a new ECU or third party shops say I can find a solution that isnt 100% guaranteed for half the cost of the ecu but still may need one. Car passes smog, not state ref emissions tests.
Looking for stock tune file/map, an ecu thatll get me through the inspection, do not know what to do, any help is appreciated. |

CALID ZA1JA01G
downloaded xml file from your post, thank you very helpful. Heard a lot of great things of you steve appreciate your help, good man! At the moment I'm trying to reflash the ecu with the file but I run into many walls as I'm not familiar with the processes. I am using OpenFlash Manager to try to upload the stock tune to the OFT v2 Tablet, getting error when Uploading Data saying file size is incorrect. Maybe the .ori is the right file needed?? |

Allthe rom files are same size 1.2 Mbytes tune files are .bin files xnl files are definitions for romraider you need a .bin tune file If your car is USA car it wont be A01G calibration thats a substiture rom oft uses also you cannot manually load files into the original slot on oft that can only be read from ecu you can however load a stock tune into one of hte five tune slots and flash from there what year is car assume its manual Usa manual will ve B01C or B00C in most cases but sometimes A00C or A01C post up an oftvtune that loads to oft here and ill have a look |
the car took the .hex file, i cannot seem to locate the stock tune in .bin, trying to get engine diagnostics from a drive to upload for review. the car is a 2013 subaru brz manual, using ZA1JB01C file at the moment. taking to subaru dealership for repair if they can do anything, then setting another california state smog referee and hopefully will pass, i see no reason it wouldnt. apologies for long time across responses, thanks once again!

hex or bin is same ie if its ZA1JB01C.BIN or.hex it same so all ok |
Uploaded B01C.hex to OFM and it says "Selected file is not compliant" current tune on the car is A01C.ori while the car runs well, has a cold start that fires up to about 1900 rpm, idles ~1300rpm and sometimes pops during downshift, I'm looking to install stock catback leave oem headers. I've schedule an appointment with Subaru for a reflash because it seems the car will pass state referee

Ok you eill need to load a slghtly older ZA1JA01C stock rom |
See my post here
it has stock ZA1JA01C rom download that unzip and upload to oft and flash https://www.ft86club.com/forums/show...84&postcount=2 |
The lack of a written OFT user manual that should come wiht the tablet is really showing here.
Here is the link to the ROM you need from Steve. ZA1JA01C_2013 USDM .zip |
