I came across a torque damper from a website that sells japanese parts. Looks like a torque damper however, i have not a clue as to where in gods green earth it bolts to. The part makes no sense as these engines dont really move in the same way that others do and its low center of gravity only helps that matter. Im just curious is all. Ive ordered whiteline trans insert and differential bushing inserts to get rid of some of the drivetrain slop. Id be willing to review this so called damper to satiate others interests as well and be a guinea pig. Here is the link:

Note that some of the photos look like generics of dampers for other jdm vehicles they make them for, but this is labeled specifically for the ZN6 platform aka the gist of this entire forum.

Im sure there are better parts that are commonly used to achieve a mild reduction in drivetrain slop. Hence why i went with the inserts first but those are for the rear end of the vehicle im almost positive this attaches to the engine and the chassis somewhere but with turbo goin on under the hood theres not a lot of real estate pending the kit we go with.

Do note that this appears to also brace the brake cylinder, which requires a mirrored part between right-hand drive and left-hand drive cars. Our motor moves around a surprising amount from cornering loads as well as torque on the stock mounts. I don't thing there is any problem with that though. Unless it causes something to rub etc

To reduce engine movement, probably better off with something proven like the TRD or STI engine mounts for a mild upgrade, or the Cusco engine mounts for a more hardcore upgrade.

And as @Ohio Enthusiast mentioned, fitting a part intended for a RHD car onto our LHD cars may not work anyway since the engine bays are mirrored.

If you want those I also have some fuses to sell you.

There still isnt anything in the way though the brake booster is on the other side if its mirrored, the engine and chassis are in the same place, right?

My goal is to keep my air filter from rubbing, but all these changes may reduce driveline slop and gain a lil torque in the process. I dont want completely solid just stiffer. Plus my 3 inch overpipe rattles on the frame a little.

Thank you for that insight, i will go the mainstream route and just upgrade mounts slighty piece by piece until i achieve desireable decreased engine and drivetrain slop and still have a comfortable ride with mild NVH increase.
