Ice Fabrication/off the line coil pack connectors - Upgrade to 2015+
Anyone give this product a shot yet? I am curious about quality. I found a set of 2015+ coil packs a while ago for a steal so this could be a good low budget option to solve the 2013-2014 coil pack issues. I ordered a set and will report back on the install and results.

I reached out to both companies asking if the terminal pins are the same on the 2013-14 and 2015+. I will report back when I get a reply. |
Ice Fabrication replied stating they tried looked into the pins and they are in fact different. So new pins are required.

@Takumi788 what are the coil pack issues on '13-14?

Just curious. Has anybody done a side by side comparison of the early vs late coil packs? Other than the plug, what is the difference? Old ones fail due to age. Do the new ones actually last longer?

Really similar numbers on my 2013 as well. Owned for 9y/48k miles, 40+ track days, lot of canyon drives, and... 6 coils :brokenheart: Agree on heat being a major contributor. |
