alignment with Eibach springs?
 

Anybody have a problem with alignment after installing the Eibach Pro-line springs? I have ordered adjustable strut bolts for the front, but was wondering about the rear. Any problems, or can the stock adjustments handle te springs? Thanks.

Depends on what you want for rear camber. If you have too much rear camber you can pull some out with the whiteline adjusters for fairly cheap.

Probably just aligned back to stock specs. This is my daily driver, don't need anything too aggressive.

Eibach is currently designing adjustable rear arms to adjust camber and toe for the FR-S and BRZ. They will be needed to dial in preferred alignment specs if you modify your ride with springs or coilovers.

When can we expect these, and how much?

They are still in the design phase but all of the parts we're developing for these cars are high priority. I'm hoping we'll have pieces in the next month or two. I'm sure updates will be posted by myself or others as we have more info and photos to share.

I don't see how they can claim that the car can be aligned back to stock specs without aftermarket camber adjusters. The car has no camber adjustment stock.

Bit skeptical.

OE Spec is 1.25 +/- .75, or .5-2.00. They measured 1.7, which is in the OE range.

Wait wait wait. If I am reading this correctly, stock front camber is ZERO and rear is -1.25????

That seems stupid to me. You'd figure it would be front camber around -0.5 to -0.75 and the rear around -0.25 to -0.5.

Personally I'll be running about -1.25 up front and -1 in the rear; for drifting.

Whiteline said pretty much that in their video analysis of the OEM suspension.

IIRC they saw around 0 degrees of camber up front and -1.1 or so in the rear, with slight toe out front and a little toe in out back.

What I'm curious about what Eibach means when they claim that the alignment can be *adjuated* to factory specs when it's pretty widely known that the car doesn't have any camber adjustment from the factory.

Saying that the alignment 'happens to fall within OEM tolerances' with the springs installed would have been clearer than saying tha it cam be adjusted.

Unless they're referring to toe only.

Gotcha. Well looks like I'll only need a rear camber adjustment after getting a drop. A 1-1.4 inch drop should put me around -1.25 up front hopefully. WAY too much camber in the back though.

So I got my springs on yesterday. Took it in for an alignment, and the rear camber is out of spec, but only on the passenger side. -1.5 on the drivers side rear, but -2.1 on the passenger's side. Wondering if it will change with a 200 lb. driver in the car? If not, how much will it hurt to drive until I can get some adjustment for the rear?

Considering it will be upper arms .. it will be $$$.
