Agency Power - Lightweight Pulley
2 Attachment(s)
So stupid me I thought I could cut corners removing my pulley without having something to counteract the rotation to loosen the screw... wasted my time pulling apart the intake, but then again - it's not wasted when I get to dissect my car
I bought the Agency Power Pulley and they even gave me the option for what color I wanted! Color?! BLUE?!?!! OK!!!! Got it today (fast delivery, faster communication!) and I have to wait until I can get my hands on a pulley removal tool... but I have to go to Mexico tomorrow for business but I'll be back to try again on the weekend!!! Also: Lost a screw bit in the bottom panel... will it fall out eventually while driving or is it going to rattle forever and ever until I get under the car? |
Cool. I personally like the look of the Perrin one but that's still nice.

Do you plan to dyno the part?
Curious if it will make the 14 whp that it did on Vivid's dyno |

Sorry I stand corrected Their baseline was 153whp 125wtq and a Pulley + Fly wheel showed a gain to 180whp 143wtq which is 27whp and 18wtq while adding headers, crossover pipe and full exhaust to that only gained 14whp and 7wtq I don't buy these numbers or any dyno posted by Vivid so I was curious if OP would dyno the part or confirm to deny these numbers. |
You know what... That's a goo idea! I'm going to dyno the car before installing it and then a dyno after... I've only installed a K&N air filter in the stock air intake box - should be very subtle difference with that, so let's see how this turns out!!!
And for everyone to know... if you lose a screw under the engine bay... it WILL remain there - so that's good... I guess... but cause it's rolling around!!! |
Weight of the pulley is 1.0 lb according to their website:
http://www.agency-power.com/catalog/...vctnbdf3jjkao3 Perrin's crank pulley is 1.2 according to their website: http://www.perrinperformance.com/brz...z-crank-pulley But depending on where that weight is located they might perform about the same 0.2 lb difference when you include the weight of the rotating crank + pistons and flywheel is pretty negligible |
says 1.0lb, but their postings on it said 1.2lbs on their scale. I figured Perrin and AP are the same, just a matter of $5 give or take...

I got the AP pulley in red, installed it and the butt dyno doesnt really feel a difference, I could give a rat's ass about power gain's of less than 10hp because you wont feel it. What i do like is the revs climb and descend alot faster which is very noticeable from stock. I used to hate how the revs took a second or two to stabilize when you got off the throttle, now its alot better, but I think with the inclusion of a (slightly) lighter clutch/flywheel this car will have an easier to modulate throttle response. I'm used to my superbikes where you can rev to redline in about a second from idle and be back at idle almost as fast (with the clutch pulled in of course).

Where did you order it to get the blue? I have only seen Black and Silver.
