OFT Question re. Flashing Stock Tune

@steve99 @Wayno (or anyone else with knowledge)

Are there any issues with flashing my original tune (.ori) onto my ECU the same way I would any other OFT tune file? In other words, can I load it into one of the MODIFIED slots on my OFT and flash it that way?

Back story - I had to wipe my OFT due to a corrupt file. After the wipe, it read a pre-existing OFT tune on my car as the original. Thankfully I had saved the real original tune on my laptop and need to load it back into the ECU.

Thanks!

Nvm got a response from Vishnu! For anyone wondering, no issues flashing to stock this way.

Except unmarrying OFT to prepare it to resale to someone else in future will still put back whatever tune you had at time when re-married OFT after reset, even if you can flash stock tunes too from "modified slots". Still married to other car OFT has no use for next owner.

Yep thanks, I realized that but I'll cross that bridge when the time comes.

I'd rather try now, when memory still fresh, contact very same people you conversated with regarding reset, describe your issue, and arrange first flash via "modified" stock tune back, and then do another reset of OFT, so that you can marry it with right, stock, tune, which will enable problemless unmarrying/resale in distant future.
