SCCA Auto-x catalytic convert info

Hello everyone, Hope you're all having a fine friday. Im here today to ask about catalytic converters and the autocross rules applying to them for the street prepared class. I am simply wondering if I need to run a catalytic converter on both my headers and also the front pipe, or if I can get away with just one or the other.

Thank you all for your shared knowledge.

Enjoy the spring roads, Drive safe!

I believe just the front pipe is ok. That certainly has been the case for years in STX and I believe the rule is shared here.

Thank you very much for this info

STX requires that you keep one cat

"Any catalytic converters are allowed with the following constraints. Multiple catalytic converters may be replaced by a single unit. The inlet(s) of the replacement converter(s) must be located between the cylinder head and a point 6” (152.4 mm) further along the exhaust flow path from the original exit of the final OE converter."

Street prepared allows for the removal of all cats.
