Soft clutch?
So I recently took my car to the dealer to have the tob replaced. I had them install the new part# tob, oem clutch, resurfaced flywheel, versus engineering clutch fork, pivot, and bell housing cover.
The first time I went to pick it up it wouldnt go into first or second gear. I left it and they corrected that issue. I picked it up again today and the clutch feela very soft/easy to push. My previous clutch was by no means hard to push, but there was definitely much more resistance. I would think it should be the oppostie. Havent driven it too much yet, but it appears to be going into gear just fine. Is this normal for a new clutch to be softer? Or is it something to worry about? Or do I just need to get used to it? |
Almost same exact thing happened to me when I went and got my TOB replaced. The pedal was super light after they changed it. It ended up going to back to normal soon after though.

An easy to push clutch should be a good thing.
I suggest you just enjoy it - ;) |
I experienced the same thing after the versus clutch fork install. I think it just needs adjustment to the petal as the fork might not be the same exact shape as stock

Probably how it was designed to feel tbh. You're just not used to it.

Maybe it's working properly now.

Break in the clutch then do some hard launches. If clutch holds you are good.
