Need expertise advise, wrecked wheels

Hello,

I currently got into an accident and bent both my RPF 1’s beyond repair. They were 18x8.5 + 35 offset, matte black and unfortunately that size has since been discontinued. 2 out of 4 wheels/tires are still in good shape. What are my options? Trying not to buy all 4 new rims + Tires at the moment so I was thinking of doing a staggered set up.

Currently the closest size I can get to the same wheel is 18x9 +40 offset. Would that work? Worried it might throw the ABS sensors. Thanks!

Different sized tires can throw all kinds of stuff off on these cars.

If money is an issue, find some stockers for stupid cheap and run those till you can get a proper replacement set, or buy all 4 now.

When buying the tires, make sure the diameter (or Hight) are the same and the ABS will not care.

i rock two different color wheels, bought them that way, my last set was black/gold too. just saying

when your fronts are different color than the rears, it looks ratchet/drift setup. dont like that. but when the lefts are one, and rights are another, 1/10 people notice you have 2 different color wheels.

can you get an rpf1 in that size at all anymore, in a different color??

For an additional cost I would consider having the replacement wheels powder coated black to better match what you have.

Buy the 18x9s and use them on the rear with the 8.5s in front. Run a 245/35/18 tire on all four corners, the rears will have a very mild stretch versus the fronts but it will be barely noticeable. You won't be able to rotate, but it's the best solution short of buying a whole new set of wheels.

I'd rather try to get square width, other pair also 8.5, even if of different offset. Some offsets can be "fixed" using spacers. Would hate to get extra understeer from staggered setup.
