Ayo what da dog doin’

I just tuned my my 2013 Scion FR-S with the Stage 2 E85 tune and drove around nice and carefully for a good 20 miles to let the car re-learn the tune. Anyways, I have a muffler and resonator delete and that’s it. My cat in my front pipe is damaged and I believe that’s why my car work start again. I believe it’s too clogged. I used the oft to pull codes and only got p0118 and p000c. Please help me find out what is wrong exactly with my car or point me in the right direction.

Neither code is cat related. First one is coolant temp and second is cam sensor.

Your car fall under the recall?

Thank you, I’m going to have it towed to my shop and they will see

What do you mean? It never went in for any recalls, I know that much

Does your car fall under the Valve spring recall.
That could be the problem also, though unlikely.

Try to start the car and watch the MAF G/S or MAF Volts to see if there is airflow. That is a good indicator of a clogged CAT. Its pretty hard to meltdown a CAT like that unless your doing some risky tuning. Pops and bangs tune.

It could also be your Cam sensor. A bad camshaft position sensor may give you a warning before it completely fails. A failing camshaft position sensor begins losing its ability to quickly transfer data. Mismatched fuel delivery and ignition timing, even if off by a few milliseconds, will cause your vehicle to sputter, accelerate poorly, lack power, stall or even shut off. If the sensor has completely failed the car could just fail to start. I suggest looking at what the car is telling you first and get that sensor replaced

Okay so I’ll plug in my oft next time I try to start it and I’ll use the realtime data page, what should I be looking for? And yes, I tuned it before I tuned it for e85 on a pops and bangs tune

If you want to see if your cat is clogged just see when your starting the car check if the maf V (Mass air flow Voltage) goes up. It might only read like 1v or so but if air is moving it should be higher than 0.
