I see there is a small shield but any issues or concerns about the turbo heat being that close to the battery?

Is it safe to assume that most/all aftermarket headers that retain the OEM overpipe would work in conjunction with this kit?

The original, OEM battery on our 2014 BRZ test vehicle is finally starting to show signs that it might be time for a replacement after 7 years of use (won't hold a charge if not driven for a few weeks). We installed the kit over 25k miles ago, and have participated in countless track days, challenges, and drift events. Most batteries are recommended to be replaced after 4-6 years. Not bad! Quote:

So as long as the fitment of your aftermarket header is within OEM standards, it will physically fit with the kit, and further gains can be had. However; we do have to make it very clear that installing an aftermarket header that is not smog legal will compromise your vehicles compliance. |
