Fuel tank capacitiy: Level vs. Volume Table
Hi all,
can anyone help me out with a level (or even better sender voltage) vs volume table? I did a LS swap on my 86 using the OEM GM E38 ECU and am trying now to dial in the correct fuel volume left per sender level. Of course the tune I use (from a Camaro) is set to a different volume und shape of the tank. On the GM side of the ECU tune world there are tables for primary and secondary level sensor. I´m not familiar with the Toyota side of this topic, but I´d like to assume that there should also be some kind of a table for that... Unfortunately TIS only tells you max and min level sender resistance. No information about anything in between and so with no respect to the corrsponding volume. Thanks in advance! |
I seem to recall, reading that the Empty to full was calculated between 1/4 readings then displayed. Other words the ecu only reads in 4 spots, then calculates between those.
Not for sure though. |
