Loose axle
 

I took the axle shafts out to check and re-lube the joints. They needed it and that all went well. When I reinstalled them I noticed where the inner joint seats in the diff has much more play than i recall when I removed it. I can only slide it outward a little before it stops. To go any farther it would have to pry it. I doubt it would leak since the seal is going to do its job anyway. This just seems odd. Any thoughts?
