PP Brembo front rotor weight, lighter-weight alternatives?

Anybody know how much the factory BRZ PP Brembo front rotors weigh?
Apparently DBA 2-piece rotors weigh 21 lb., would like to know how much lighter than stock that is.
Any other lighter-weight rotor options for Performance Package Brembos?

Approx 23 lbs for OEM

PFC has 2 piece rotors...17.7 lbs. Price is around $1k-ish (need to double check). We used to run these a lot on our older STI track cars.

These are the larger 2018+ 6 piston STI brembo rotors pictured below...same idea.

I looked into this a while back while searching for BBKs for my old GC.

Take a look at the Girodisc 2-piece rotors. They're about $800 per pair. Lots of positive feedback from the STi owners over at IWSTi.

Weight measurement compared to stock rotors shown below (and link to thread). Keep in mind our PP rear rotors have different hats so the weight might be slightly off. But the fronts are the same as the 4-pot STi I believe:

I think the Girodisc 2-piece STi rotors will fit both front and rear for the Performance Package Brembos.

I think they are about 7 lbs lighter per side for the front and 3 lbs lighter per side for the rear.

08+ STI rears will only fit if the hat is dual drilled for 5x100 and 5x114.

I am not familiar with the STi hub and rotor specs over the generations. Girodisc also has a rear rotor for the 04-07 STi. Maybe this one will fit the PP rears?

The trick is you need a "later" rear brembo but the later rear brembos for STI are all 5x114, although some aftermarket options are dual drilled with 5x114 and 5x100.

BRZ specific rear brembo rotors in 5x100 are harder to find but they do exist. I'm just not aware of any 2 piece options.

So someone should buy batch of those later STI ones from whomever, custom drill 5x100 in own shop (or offer such service) and then sell at slight premium :)

I mean Girodisc might even do it for you! We like the PFC front rotors but I have not tried Girodisc.

Thanks so much guys!

If the Gerodisc for '04-'17 fronts fit I might just get 'em. -11.6 lb. unsprung mass off the nose of the car, for *only* $800! Dayum...

Probably stick with 1-piece rears for now...

GiroDisc site doesn't show BRZ fitments, but this site shows front and rear Girodisc 2-piece rotors for BRZ "with Brembo brakes":

KNS Brakes is legit and I'd contact them to get more details.

I'm willing to bet the front rotors will be a direct fit, but as mentioned the rear hats will be different.

KNS Brakes are good peoples.
