Rear Differential Gear Oil to tune handling balance
Has anyone tried using different gear oil to tune the stock torsen differential? I am wondering if it's having a subtle affect on the corner exit push I sometimes feel. Maybe I should just stop apexing late.

The diff is gear driven, the fluid viscosity or friction modifiers will have negligible effects on the lockup behaviour, that only really works on viscous diffs and clutch diffs.

Can you get more camber?
Edit: yes, the rear diff and factory suspension outgrips the front, imho more front grip is the solution, not less rear lockup. |
If you want to "tune" your diff you'll need to swap the torsen out for a clutch type LSD.

Ok. I read a lighter weight oil would increase the locking affect somewhat. Guess not enough to matter.
I do need more front camber. Stock ride height on factory crash bolts doesn't seem to be enough. |
