Scion FR-S perfect fitment

So I have stock suspension on my 2015 FRS.

Im looking at Konig Oversteer wheels with either:
18x8 +45mm offset
18x9 +42mm offset

Now for tires I was wondering if I can run 245/40 all around with no rubbing or modifications on the stock suspension?

How about 245/45 all around on the stock suspension ? (perferred)

Help !!! :)

You will be able to run both of those sizes on stock suspension with a 245/40/18 tire. I would recommend you use a 245/35/18 tire as your other tire choices are tall and that will effect gearing and speedometer.

Okay so im going to go with the 245/40 tire all around.

The 18x9 +42mm offset wouldnt poke out correct ?
Or should i go with the 18x8 +45mm offset ?

I want my wheel flush or a barely poking out

No, 18x9 +42 will poke out a little unless you decide to lower your car. If you do not plan on lowering the car than i would go 18x8 +45.

Heres a thread on how it will look. Not the same wheel, but the same specs.

I have 18x9 +42 konig Oversteer wheels with 245/35/18. I added a 12mm spacer in the front and a 15mm in the back to make them flush.

I also have 18x8 konig Oversteer wheels. They need 1" spacers to be flush. Do not stagger, it makes the car handle less than compared to square.

This info is for a car that's lowered 1" and has natural rear camber. You'll want a set of camber bolts for the front. Lowering doesn't add a useable amount of camber to the front.

I think your car sits perfect. I'm on 18x8 +40 offset, 225/40/18 MP4S. Square setup. I'm happy with the front, but being lowered on TRD springs, they add a bit of camber in the back, I would like just a little more to flush. This is also with 5mm washer type adapters. I don't want to go to stud type adapters. Just keeping it simple. Will try to get a pic tomorrow, weather permitting...

Briefly off topic. I really like your side skirts! What are they?

No.

With coils, yes. But I would not suggest it. 255's are for 9.5" wide wheels.

Now I’m looking at:

245/40 set up all around

Eibach lowering springs (1in)

now which rim size (18x8 +45mm or 18x9 +42mm) will not give me a stretch look ?
I want the rim and tire to be flush themselves as well. I do not like the rim sticking out of the tire at all.

Would this setup work and not rub or need modifications ?

Have you played with this tool? Hover mouse over Spring Rate box and you'll see tire/wheel/suspension go up and down for comparison:
