Stereo not working after changing battery
 

Help... I changed the battery and now the stereo doesn't work and the speakers are making a HUGE static sound that I had to take out the stereo fuse to stop the crazy noise...what can it be? I even took out the complete stereo (unplugged it) and put the fuse back and the very loud static noise is still there... took out the fuse again.

Is your stereo system stock? Has it been modified in any way?


Have you tried disconnecting the power plug from the amp in the trunk and then trying the head unit again?
