3rd Brake Light Vibration TSB?

I have a 2016 FR-S and sometimes the 3rd brake light makes a very loud vibration noise. I searched on the forums and found that many other people had this issue in the past.

Apparently, at some point Subaru started making the bottom bottom piece of the 3rd brake light with a strip of foam along the edge to stop the vibration noise. From what I read, since my car is a 2016 it should have this strip of foam on the 3rd brake light but it does not.

I checked the TSB thread here and I can not find it. Does anyone know the TSB number for the 3rd brake light vibration noise?

It would be easiest if I can just go to the dealer with the TSB number and have them install the new piece. If there is no TSB or the TSB is only for Subaru or something, does anyone have the part number for the new 3rd brake light piece with the foam strip?

You can go to a craft store and buy a sheet of adhesive felt, it's literally a dollar:

Cut the sheet into ~0.2" strips and adhere those to the brake light housing where it touches the base, but not too much such that it doesn't click in anymore. Should take care of the rattling.

Did not find this TSB for Toy/Sci vehicles. Found one under '14 Brz. Part number is 84701CA002VH.

Okay. It seems Subaru must have issued a TSB but not Toyota. Not sure if I should try and fix it myself or buy this part now.

The new part just has a bit of fabric on it. Otherwise it's the same. You can fix it yourself for a fraction of the cost.

You go on Amazon or your local store of choice to buy some foam tape and do this yourself.
