You used a fishing line to cut through the adhesive?

you guys work way too hard to get the badges off... mine just come off with the edge of a utility knife.

i've never tried the floss option. when i pulled the badges on my 18 year old truck, i used the same technique, though i mostly just cut the badges off with a long snap-blade knife, and then scrubbed/picked the remaining part off with my fingers.

metal backings are pressed into the back of the pegs that line up the badge. plus the adhesive. heat, plastic wire from arts and crafts store, plastic spatula, goo gone works well.

Next time tie the floss around a wooden dowel or pen to form a make shift garotte. This will avoid hurting your fingies.
