Why is it so hard to remove the front badge?
I been trying so hard to get this front badge off my 86. I got the back one off no problem but no matter how much heat i use it wont come off lmao. Any tips?

You used a fishing line to cut through the adhesive?

i've never tried the floss option. when i pulled the badges on my 18 year old truck, i used the same technique, though i mostly just cut the badges off with a long snap-blade knife, and then scrubbed/picked the remaining part off with my fingers.

metal backings are pressed into the back of the pegs that line up the badge. plus the adhesive. heat, plastic wire from arts and crafts store, plastic spatula, goo gone works well.
