Issues with white smoke after spark plug change
Hello all, sorry about the title, I ended up figuring out the smoke.
I just changed the spark plugs on my 13 FRS at 88k miles. I recently went FI and have been having misfires over about 5 psi, so I figured I would change them out. I should note that I am on basemap tune for the SBD 500x kit, and have the car has been running rich since I re flashed (with Openflash through Shiv). After telling shiv that I had misfires, I sent him some logs and he said he had difficulty seeing why it was happening. Everything went well, but I did notice that the DI ECU was missing the bolt on the bottom. From what I read, that bolt is required for grounding purposes. I replaced the bolt and started it up. So far, I have gotten the P0300 code multiple times when getting over 5 psi boost, and the P0303 and P0301 codes off along with it. Any help is greatly appreciated. |
How does your LTFT and STFT look? If it's running rich I'd imagine you have a leak somewhere.
