2016 FR-S Radio skips
 

My radio sometimes skips when I listen to music on the radio, iPhone, Bluetooth.

It mostly happens when I raise the volume, it does it most of the time when I raise the volume past 23.

I know the stock radio sucks, dunno what can cause this...

Thoughts, I tried searching forum hardly anything pertains to my issue.

So all factory radio?
No subwoofer amp or other add on's?

If there are add on's then their is your problem, you have a loose connection or something is shorting out.

If all else fails take out the stereo carefully, and check that all the wires are plugged in properly or if some one did a hack job and return to stock.

If that doesn't work, then a trip to any car audio place might be in order. Good luck.

Everything is OE, nothing aftermarket. I’ll check to see if anything is loose.
