lowering without aftermarket rear control arms
hello everyone, i just got a set of tein flex z for my frs
just wondering will i need aftermarket rear lower control arms and camber bolts to adjust camber and toe if i lower it around 1.25"? |
I've been on aftermarket coils (~1.5" drop) for 3 years now, no LCAs, but I've also wondered if handling characteristics would be better with LCAs. But not enough to spend money on a potentially futile and expensive experiment

If so, I wouldn't worry about it. 1.25" isn't a massive drop. The only time to be concerned with "too much negative camber" for a street car is when you get above -2.5* to -3.0*. Incorrect toe destroys tires much faster than camber. When you do your alignment make sure the shop dials in factory toe specs and you'll be good to go. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk |
Needed for driving around: absolutely not
