Time for a built bottom end need advice

Hey all,
So i was debating buying a supra, and i have decided I am just not done with this platform. I have some money set aside and I am looking for more power.

Current setup JRSC, JDL Headers, JS Oil Cooler, exhaust...

Im looking for more HP.. Looking for north of 400whp.

I would not mind staying with JSRC and moving to RS pulley and E85 in the future. That said im paranoid about adding any more power to the stock bottom end.

First and foremost not looking to swap with anything, not trying to 2J or LS here just looking for the 4-500 HP range.

I am looking at built bottom ends, Crawford... MAP... IAG.. have a few questions..

First off anyone have any experience with any of them? or any other commendations?

Second, with my HP goals in mind i would like to run stock heads.. trying keep the budget in check and hoping I can achieve my goals on stock heads. Is this possible? I understand the limitations of the JRSC and may look to turbo in the future but currently looking to see what it can do.

Located in Nor Cal so if anyone has recommendation of local engine builders i would also be interested.

Planned on keeping stock till it goes.. One of the reasons i want to stick with the JRSC is that is doesnt put that heavy torque on it.

Only limitation on stock heads are the valve springs- I'd run stock unless you have an issue. I would go with the MAP engine. I've been seeing several failures in IAG EJ25 blocks that start having ring blowby within a few weeks. Can't find any dirt on them online, but that doesn't mean it's not there. IAG used to be my recommendation, but with the issue consistently being rings, I feel like their machining work is sloppy

I would reduce compression with RS pulley if you are going to daily drive and want to use 93 octane. Tune can be better optimized with lower compression and higher boost.

I am looking to build my motor as well, although looking for reliability for around 300-400 hp.
I currently have the JDL Precision 4854 kit producing around 330 to wheels.

I am looking at AIG, Rev Works, Element Tuning and Titan Motorsports. I Rather have a shop close to me since I live in Orlando and Rev Works and Titan are here.

Bluemoon Performance would be my go-to for an engine. You get what you pay for.

You'll likely need more than just a bottom end to clear 400whp with a JRSC.

With 400whp you better stock up on transmissions. Turbo would be my choice for that level of power. Less PSI needed and you could so some tricks with limiting boost per gear and help reduce wtq in the lower rpms

a sc makes significantly less tq than a turbo. so, at 400whp with a sc would be fine on the transmission. tq kills transmission, not hp.

My comment was if he was going turbo [emoji222] even at 400 whp would only put him at what 330wtq ish. The more 4th gear pulls the more likely of sheering that gear. Friend who has a e85 boosted has killed 3 trans but he is closer to 425 to 450whp
