Installed: TWS T66F in 17x8, Stock Tire Size

Oem+ build, used lightweight hankook ventus v12 in stock size to retain nimbleness.

Lost 7lbs per corner

Because of the lightness, car feels more “floaty” which takes getting used to, but the grip and nimbleness is definitely better.

Loving that it aint a stretch at all, and im sticking with OEM suspension.

Nice wheels! Would you consider a lip or splitter for a bit of downforce?

Will BRZ 11-04-2019 10:59 PM

Looks really good. 7 pounds is a lot!

These look amazing

Damn those look nice, but are expensive.

gravitylover 11-05-2019 05:25 PM

Try dropping the pressure a little bit at a time and see if the floaty feel goes away.

I really want these in 18x9.5. So cool.

I know you would like to stay OEM+ What about a TRD front lip/body kit. If painted the body colour it looks really nice. It OEM and not to racey looking.

Things like sidewall stiffness and rubber compound will play a big part of how a car this light feels. Most of these tires are intended for cars that are 500 pounds, or more, heavier than these cars so the recommended pressure will be different due to them having a beefier casing to support the heavier car. I'd try by dropping it a 1/2 psi at each corner (when cold), the rear will probably need to go down more than the front.

Thats brilliant. I notice the car feels less floaty after a few weeks without air (at about 33 psi)
