Delicious Tuning stage 1 tune

i was planning on selling my BRZ so i reverted everything back to stock, but i still have my Ecutek dongles. i may hold onto the car for bit longer now, i'm not interested in installing aftermarket header so i'm thinking about DT stage 1 tune. that works on stock header correct? is it worth it to flash it?

Yes, stage 1 works with your Stock setup.

Is it worth it to get the stage 1? I’ve had OFT stage 1 before and frankly did not notice any difference. Is the DT stage 1 better?

e85 is the best way to go if you can

I'd go with Steve also. Unless you wanna splurge on a dyno tune at a reputable shop

Or just flash a (compatible) OFT tune on the car

If its a auto will work , but any manual tune with th lc\ffs patch upsets ecutek now that your forced to add racrom patch to flash any non stock tune. Unless got tuner version ecutek with compare will take hours to cut and paste all the tables into a non patcged rom, doable but time consuming

what sets part from Steve's tune from a reputable shop's tune, besides money that is?

Stage 1 tune with Flex Fuel is always a good setup. Stage 1 by itself does give you decent gains but nothing too crazy as Steve said. Usually pump gas Stage 1 is about a 8-12 hp/tq gain.

Below are the expect results from stock (91 pump gas) to E85 Flex Fuel Stage 1 tune.
