FA20 Shortblock
Got my engine today. This is most likely the first FA20 shortblock in the USA.
This engine will be fitted with prototype low compression pistons and high strength rods! I can't wait!!! Thought everyone would enjoy a look at what powers our beloved cars. :) Ishii http://www.141motors.com/fr-s/fa20/fa20.jpg http://www.141motors.com/fr-s/fa20/fa20a.jpg http://www.141motors.com/fr-s/fa20/fa20-1.jpg http://www.141motors.com/fr-s/fa20/fa20-2.jpg http://www.141motors.com/fr-s/fa20/fa20-3.jpg http://www.141motors.com/fr-s/fa20/fa20-4.jpg http://www.141motors.com/fr-s/fa20/fa20-5.jpg |

Exciting!!!........
|
What kind of $$ did the short block cost?
|
Wowzers!
|
Nice!! Will you be updating this thread with the build? :)
Thanks, Rick |
Pretty sweet. Block casting looks pretty smooth. The cylinders are lined, but approx how thick are the steel sleeves?
|
That's pretty impressive that they made all the main bearing boors the same. Number 2 bearing all across is good presison. Wonder what the rod bearing are . Looks nice and cant wait to see the end result.
