Help with after market Pioneer AVIC X940BT

Trying in install a Pioneer AVIC X940BT having problems with wiring. Does anyone know where the Speed sensor wire is on the FR-S? Have to connect the Pioneer Pink Car speed signal input wire to it.

Also there are two orange wires on the Toyota harnesses, one on the big connector and one on the other small connector. Which one do I connect to the pioneer orange wire or do I connect both?

And one last question, where do I connect the blue wire on the Metra - Antenna Adapter?

Thanks!

Be sure to post if you figure out how to use the stock Mic and USB/Aux inputs with your Pioneer unit. I have a 920bt that I plan on switching over once all the kinks are worked out.

When I get back to my shop I can try and look up the speed sensor wire for you on direchtechs or installogy(paid subscription wiring sites) for the orange wire, one is positive dimmer trigger one is negative, I might be able to find out which one it is for you but it's pretty easy to find out during install, just Hook up one of them and see if the dimmer switch dims the radio, if not try the other one.
The blue wire on your antennae adapter is a remote wire to tell the antennae to turn on, there should be a blue and a blue/white wire on the radio harness, blue is amp turn on and blue/white is the one you want.

These should work for you, I'm not 100%. I work sales at a car audio shop so I have a good amount of knowledge on this stuff and have done installs before, but I'm not an installer. I can double check with some of my guys when I get back to work but right now I'm sitting at an audi dealer getting a radio code programmed.

What are using to hide the gaps on the sideof the headunit when you install?

http://www.aerpro.com/p.php?pcode=ATB2

or aerpro FP9016 which has a DIN pocket and the side ears too. This would be for a single DIN installation normal head unit or flip out single DIN screen.

when i finally getting around to receiving and installing mine i'm just gonna pop the stock mic out and put the new one in the same place so it has the same oem look to it. :P hope it works! cause that's the plan at least...

im not installing one of these on my car, however when I do them at work I usually put them in the front passenger corner of the windshield. This location will work fine for our cars, the only cars I sometimes run into problems with are a few Mercedes and Rovers which have heated front windshields using thin metal strips running through the windshield which can cause some interference.

If you want to put it somewhere else just make sure there is no metal blocking it. I did a radar detector in a customers FR-s about a month and half ago and I was able to put the GPS antennae for that under the rear deck lid and didnt run into any signal problems so that would probably be an option also.
