UEL Header and Exhaust

My plan regarding the exhaust setup is to have a 1320 Performance UEL header with the 60mm overpipe and have it connect with the MXP SP quad tip catback exhaust.

My concern with this setup is potential fitment issue that with this combo. Anybody that has this setup that can chime in with their experience?

Is there any other parts that I need to buy besides the accessories included with the header?

Much appreciated!

What you need to find out is whether or not the front pipe you're using will fit. If it's stock I don't see why it wouldn't, however.

I just listed a 1320 Performance overpipe and front pipe on eBay. $50 shipped for the over pipe and $100 shipped for the dual resonated front pipe. Both include the original unused gaskets and hardware.

Unless you want the UEL sound, I would rather gut the cat on the stock header then use the 1320.

Yes, I would like to keep the UEL sound. Hopefully the 1320 headers does not throw a code for the O2 sensor...

If it is catless, it will give you a P0420 for cat efficiency. Before you buy a catback just pick up an OFT. I bet there is 1, or 3 in BST right now. You won't be getting much benefit from your exhaust upgrade without a tune and the tune will disable the CEL for cat efficiency.

I believe that this header is catless. So I'm guessing that it most likely will throw a code...

Tune it. That will fix the code and get you the full benefit of the header.
