Recommended Rear Differential Fluid for Automatic?
Hi guys so im at 60k miles now and i thought it would be a good time to change my rear differential fluids and i was just wondering what do you guys recommend for an Automatic? (IF auto even differs from the manual)
I haven't felt any issues with the rear differential so i was wondering at what intervals should it be serviced at? |

Either Motul Gear300 75w90 Synthetic Or TriboDyn 75w90 Synthetic It’s pretty quick and easy. Not sure interval but a 20minute 35$ job. Might as well do it. |
I used Mobile 1 gear oil.
All depends how much money you want to spend or which fan boy brand you want to use. |
Pretty much any 75w90 synthetic gear oil can work really. But I wouldn’t worry about trying to save 10$ on a cheaper product for something that you only do once every 50k+ miles. Maybe if you do hardcore tracking and swap out fluids frequently it’ll add up.

Besides Motul sucks fat ****. Mobile 1 all the way. As for the torque spec I think it's like 30 something ft/lbs. but I would take humfrz way. That's the way I "torque" mine. |
