P0304. Leak somewhere or bad spark plugs/coil packs?
P0300 and P0304 code. P0300 went away after I cleared it and haven't came back. The P0304 stayed even though I cleared it 5x.
I got the codes after installing my tune and SC. These codes were not there before. Could it be possible that my coils/plugs broke the day I start up my car for the first time since the install? What are the other culprits? Could it be the DI seals? I mean, there has to be a HUGE coincidence for these parts to break right when I finished installing the SC. Car hesitates to start up. When the car eventually starts up, it sputters and RPMs drop really low, sometimes low enough to for the engine to cut out. Can a leak cause all of this and throw off misfire codes? Is it possible for the spark plugs or coil packs to be completely fine even though its throwing a misfire code? My tuner is adamant about a leak somewhere but I just want to get second opinions. its just a leak somewhere, check hoses under the intake manifold

you NEED to clamp those hose or they pop out first time you turn on the engine, if your installer didnt do it/know it, that isthe problem

and check also if there are leaks around first lambda

Maybe the piston cracked? Maybe the head gasket let go? Maybe a coil failed? Maybe the DI computer failed? Maybe it’s just a hose off? P304 is just cylinder 4 misfire. Absolutely no indication of a cause. Air, fuel and compression, one is off. |
agree
but he just god super high positive fuel trims after the install, difficult that it is something else other than a vacuum leak |
