Torque App AFR 5.XX:1 lower than OFT
While car is idling if I switch from Torque to OFT the Torque app reads the AFR as 9.XX:1 (Mesured) and the Open Flash Tablet reads 14.XX:1. Even taking a drive with one then the other the Torque app always reads 5 lower than it should. On deceleration I get 20.0 on OFT and 15.0 on Torque. Anyone have insight as to why this might be happening? Maybe I need a PID for 2017 model? All other readouts seem to be correct even oil temp which I was told I would need a PID for.

The ECU is providing lambda (1.00). It's the client (OFT, Torque app, etc) that multiplies the lambda value with 14.7 to get the (calculated) AFR.
Maybe Torque think you are using E85? That would give you a AFR of 9.765 for lambda 1.00. |
I am running E85. Anyway to correct it on the torque app? Just so when I glance over my brain doesn't have to translate it every time.

I don't know. Maybe you could try changing fuel type in the Torque vehicle profile from E85 to Petrol?

Lambda 1 iss 14.7 petrol afr and 9.8 fir e85 if its 85% ethanol. This will change as athanol %changes. Its easier to do what the ecu does and jyst use petrol afr. Oft tune idle afr petrol or e85 jyst look for 14.7 Full throttle should go down to about 11.8 petrol and 12.2 e85 as the e85 tunes target a skightly leaner afr than the petrol tunes |
