The Stock Engine Thread
Hi all,
I'm wondering if it's possible for all the FI owners to chime in with their experience/results so far on the stock engine. Yes, yes, it's well-known by now that under 300whp on pump is somewhat safe and low-to-mid 300's is possible for ethanol etc. But, it would be nice to have a compilation of individual experiences. Please kindly answer the following questions if you are on the stock block. Thank you. What would be the main factors? E85, oil cooler and a good tune I'm guessing? What more can be done to make sure the engine lasts.. |

I use a variety of calibrations on track, depending on the nature of the event I am at, but the full power map is frequently used, in temps as high as 115F ambient. |
